You don't just study theatre at Fort Lewis College—we require our students to participate in all aspects of productions, including acting, directing, publicity, lighting, set design, sound design, costumes, and property construction.

Sign up for a special day on campus, which includes attending an FLC information session, campus tour, lunch and Theatre tour with a professor, classes, meeting our community of students and faculty, touring our recording studio, scene shop, costume shop, and other facilities, visiting our black box and mainstage venues. You may also sit in on guest artist Master Classes/Lectures or attend a Main Stage performance. We produce up to four faculty-directed shows, senior productions, and class projects each year. In addition, we offer summer opportunities, guest artist productions, and national and international internship opportunities. The Theatre Hall features two theatres, a prop room, a costume shop, and a set-building facility.
Playwrights, directors, actors, dancers, designers, technicians, choreographers, administrators, and spectators function together to make theatre art. As an ensemble, our students and professors collaborate for professional educational experiences.
