Josh started working for Outdoor Pursuits in 2000 Josh ran his own mountain guiding business in Durango and successfully ran it for 10 years before returning back to OP as the Permitting and Programming Coordinator.

Jamie joined outdoor pursuits in 2024 as the programming coordinator. From 2012-2019, he ran outdoor programs for Weber State University, Tulane University, and the University of Utah before spending the next five years teaching avalanche courses, and guiding backcountry skiing and fly fishing around the Teton Valley in Idaho. He holds a bachelors degree in adventure education from Green Mountain College, and a Masters in Parks Recreation and Tourism from the University of Utah.

Kate recently began working for Outdoor Pursuits in 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Science in environmental science from Sweet Briar College and a Master of Science in parks, recreation, and tourism with an emphasis in experiential education from the University of Utah. She has more than 10 years of professional experience at a variety of higher education outdoor programs. Kate prefers to spend her time outside paddling rivers, backpacking long-distance trails, and Nordic skiing.

Bruce has worked in the outdoor industry for more than 20 years. During this time, he has been an instructor, guide, educator, and administrator in a career spanning the country. Bruce is the Coordinator for FLC’s in-house river company, Fort Lewis on the Water (FLOW), an interdisciplinary water-based outdoor education program.
