Yiyan Li, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Physics & Engineering, received $75,000 from the US Environmental Protection Agency for “An Open-Source Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR) System for the Rapid and Accurate Detection of Bacteria from Environmental Water Samples project.”

Mary Shepherd, Director, Small Business Development Center received $100,000 from the US Small Business Administration through the Colorado Department of Economic Development and International Trade (COEDIT) to fund SBDC activities in 2024.

The Partnership for Education and Advancement of Quantum and nano-Science (PEAQS), led by Jeff Jessing and a team of FLC faculty and staff, is one of 11 collaborative research groups nationwide to receive six more years of funding from the National Science Foundation.
