Telluride Startup Weekend

Senior Engineering majors Eric Hicks and James Schneider, along with Visiting Professor of Physics & Engineering Randy Palmer, won first place in Telluride's Startup Weekend competition with their RoofDogs idea. Moreen (Baylis) Sawyer

Moreen (Baylis) Sawyer was inducted into the Fort Lewis College Hall of Fame this past October. Sawyer (Exercise Science, ’05) is a three-time Skyhawks volleyball MVP, from 2001 to 2003. She was named to the 2003 All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference second team and earned RMAC honorable mention in 2001 and 2002. Matt Gutierrez

In October, Matt Gutierrez was welcomed to Fort Lewis College Hall of Fame. Gutierrez (Exercise Science, ’07) was a four-year quarterback for Skyhawks football, from 2003 – 2006. He led the Skyhawks to their first-ever postseason win and earning the game’s MVP award in the 2006 Dixie Rotary Bowl. He also earned All-RMAC first team honors in 2005 and 2006 and was the RMAC...
