FLC will immediately begin the transition to a smoke-free environment, with the new policy going into full effect on January 1, 2019. This policy applies to all employees, students, visitors, contractors and externally affiliated individuals or companies renting FLC-­owned space on FLC-­owned and operated property.

“I was lucky enough to hear Kevin speak last year, and it was incredibly impactful,” says Veronica Krupnick, recent FLC graduate and former Wellness Peer Advisory Council (WellPAC) president. “I believe that Kevin speaks our community’s language. One of his main messages – ‘it’s okay to not be okay, but it’s not okay not to ask for help,’ is powerful and life changing.”

Fort Lewis College will be celebrated on a national stage in Washington D.C. today for committing to create a healthier campus through food, physical activity and more.

The project is an effort to give voice to those affected by sexual assault and to inspire others to think more about this problem.
