Every year, Fort Lewis College graduates create innovative, original research in over 20 fields. Here are five stories of our amazing scholars, their projects, and how the work changed their lives.

Joanna Casey, Faculty, Ph.D., Physics & Engineering, received $50,000 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through the University of Colorado for the “Integrating Measurements Across Platforms to Feasibly Assess Emissions and Mitigation of Methane and VOCs from Landfills”.

Dr. Jill Choate, Associate Professor, Teacher Education, received $13,633 from the US Department of Education through the Colorado Department of Education for the “Quality Teacher Recruitment Program 23-24 grant”.

Tiffany Cozad, Director, Campbell Child and Family Center, received $5,500 from the Colorado Department of Human Services for the “Capacity Building Grant”.
