Growing forward: Environmental Center plants seeds for next 25 years

The Environmental Center at Fort Lewis College celebrates a landmark anniversary this fall: 25 years of teaching and training the leaders of the future to work toward social and environmental justice in the present. To mark the occasion, the EC is hosting the 15th annual REEL Film Experience on Saturday, November 5, at the Community Concert Hall.

Donors gather for the first meeting of the Rim Trail Society

On October 7, 2016, the Rim Trail Society gathered for the first time, hosted by the Board of Trustees at the home of President Dene and Gordon Thomas. Skyhawk cyclist saddles up for Team USA

Durango and Fort Lewis College are nearly synonymous with world-class mountain biking. This year, a Durango-native FLC alumnus embodied that excellence at the Rio Olympics. Howard Grotts (Mathematics, ’14) won national championships as a junior, which he says put him on USA Cycling’s radar.
