With a heartfelt farewell that included a scavenger hunt and a cheeky slideshow, the FLC community said goodbye to a president who thought outside the box, took risks, and walked at 100 miles per hour in a whirlwind of energy with one question in mind: What will we do next for our students?

More than 80 graduates participated in this year's Diversity Collaborative Graduation Celebration. The Collaborative includes the Black Students Center, the El Centro de Muchos Colores, the Gender and Sexuality Center and the Native American Center.

“Odyssey Adventure Elopements” combines guided outdoor recreation with a full-service wedding day experience for couples who do not fit the traditional wedding scene and those who seek adventure and connection with nature.

The Durango Industrial Development Endowment has given the Fort Lewis College Foundation nearly $1 million to establish an endowment in its name that will support workforce programs, entrepreneurship education and mentoring, and career readiness training.

FLC is leveling up its eSports game, recently inaugurating a state-of-the-art eSports Lounge that can accommodate the fast-growing sport.

A new Medical Assistant Certificate program at Fort Lewis College aims to create valuable career opportunities for students while addressing the regional shortage of medical assistants in healthcare centers.  

The collaboration aims to enhance fire safety awareness and preparedness within the campus community, emphasizing proactive measures to mitigate the risk of fires.

Seven outstanding Fort Lewis College faculty and staff were recognized during this year's Employee Award Ceremony at the Student Union.

McBrayer said the award will allow him to continue exploring the issue of misinformation and fake news. Specifically, he will explore a range of steps liberal societies may justifiably take to limit the production and spread of fake news, encourage the production and spread of genuine news, and insulate political and social life from the harms of fake news that cannot be suppressed.
