I hope everyone is enjoying your summer. On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the Presidential Search Committee, I am writing to provide you with an update on the presidential search and our activities over the last couple of months.
We have been busy planning the search process and assembling the presidential search committee in preparation for the launch of the search when everyone returns to campus in the fall. At that time, active participation, input, and feedback will be sought from the internal and external Fort Lewis College community in a variety of ways.
In September (date to be determined), we will conduct open forums and listening sessions to gather your input. In addition, our FLC team is currently designing a presidential webpage where you will be able to access the timeline, the search committee list, the feedback survey, and other relevant information about the search. When we finalize the date for the listening sessions, we will update you with the times and locations. We very much value and look forward to your participation.
Until then, we appreciate your patience as we prepare for our launch at the end of the summer. Thank you for your commitment to Fort Lewis College and a successful presidential search process.
