I recently had the chance to visit Japan along with Yuriko Miller from the Fort Lewis College International Programs Office. It was a lot of fun speaking with Japanese students and their families about FLC (though Yuriko did most of the speaking).

Over the years, students from all over the world have come to Fort Lewis College. It’s a big world out there and having foreign students bring their ideas, beliefs and backgrounds to Durango adds so much to our campus.

We’ve also seen many FLC students take a semester and study abroad. The opportunity to study for a time in another country and culture is something that can’t be replicated in any other way. I hope that every FLC student will take some time to check out our International Programs Office and discover all that it can offer.

Sincerely,
Dene Thomas
