I want to extend my deepest thanks to the firefighters and emergency responders who are battling the Lightner Creek fire. It's been unnerving, to say the least, watching the smoke billow over the mountain. Their efforts to contain this fire and keep the community safe have been nothing short of Herculean.
The FLC administration has met every day since the fire began to make sure those on campus are safe and to prepare for the worst. The fight continues, but fortunately it appears that we're gaining the upper hand against the fire.
