I’d like to personally thank Dr. Stephen Roderick as we officially endow his scholarship fund for teacher education students. The Stephen A. Roderick Endowed Scholarship Fund will be a lasting legacy to a man who dedicated more than 30 years to Fort Lewis College.
Steve began his career at FLC as a Teacher Education professor, before becoming chair of the program. He retired as provost in 2011. His commitment to students showed in his work and his generosity. For years, he set aside money through payroll deduction toward scholarships. His new endowed scholarship fund is the fruit of his efforts and will help FLC students for years to come.
