Congratulations to the Skyhawk Football Team for their upset of Colorado State University-Pueblo, the #12 ranked team in the country! Skyhawk Football played one of the best games I’ve ever seen to take down the Thunderwolves, 35-24.
Head Coach Joe Morris did a masterful job of getting the team ready to play. On a beautiful, if windy, day, the team was hitting on all cylinders. The offense played great behind Tyler Telphy’s 203 all-purpose yards, including a 73-yard run for the first score of the game. On the defensive side, Tyrell Thomas had a pick-six and Christian Woo added another interception to seal the deal.
