On Friday, February 17, the Skyhawk Men’s and Women’s Basketball games will be nationally televised as they take on Colorado School of Mines. If you’re close to Durango, join us in the stands; the first 2,000 fans receive a free t-shirt! If you can’t make it to the game, you can watch on American Sports Network or ESPN 3. The women’s game begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
This has been a great season for both Skyhawk teams. The women are 18-6 overall and fighting for postseason position. The men are nationally ranked #11 and are contending for the top spot in the RMAC against—you guessed it—Colorado School of Mines. The men are also on a 30-game home winning streak, which will be tested as the regular season draws to a close over the next few weeks.
The effect of the fans can’t be underestimated. Whether you are cheering in the stands or cheering on social media from afar, you make a difference! Let’s hear you, Skyhawks!
