Another school year at Fort Lewis College is coming to a close. Congratulations! You made it!
To the students who are graduating, I’m so proud of you and what you’ve accomplished. What you have been able to do in earning your degree is something not many people in this world have been able to do. I join with your professors in saying: Well done, now go make us proud!
To the students who will be returning in the fall, I want to wish you a happy and exciting break. Be careful, have fun, and we’ll see you in a few months ready to roll. Unless you’re in summer school, then we’ll see you sooner.
Last, but not least, thank you to the FLC faculty and staff. You do an incredible amount of work and do it well. Special congratulations go out to the faculty and staff award winners: Dr. Eric Huggins, Dr. Shere Byrd, Dr. Cathleen Hartney, Ms. Tracey Piccoli, and Dr. Emily Houghton.
