The Higher Learning Commission team working on Fort Lewis College’s reaccreditation recently visited campus to get a firsthand look at how we operate. The team members had the opportunity to hear from many students, faculty and staff, as well as community members.
In the end, the HLC team expressed their appreciation for the work done to make their visit a success and to the College accreditation teams for their work on our assurance statements. I’d like to add my gratitude to those hard working students, faculty and staff, and I’d also like to thank Provost Barbara Morris for her efforts in leading us through this milestone.
We should hear back from the Higher Learning Commission with their analysis and decision in the coming months.
