VoFLC: Zackary Kessner
I learned about Fort Lewis College from a high school event where recruiters came to Oklahoma to discuss their colleges. The Native American tuition waiver moved my family and I committed to FLC before even seeing Durango.
The second we visited that summer I instantly fell in love with Durango and FLC.
I haven't left since.
I had a bit of impostor syndrome during my final summer here, and being introduced to Stella, the Grub Hub, and the countless people I've met made me finally realize that I belong here. That, and being recognized for the work and basic needs makes me feel that I'm contributing to what has built me up.
My name is Zackary Kessner. I'm a senior studying sociology and the basic needs intern at the Grub Hub.
