Elizabeth Howe serves as the Vice President of Business Services at La Plata Electric Association, which oversees the operations, safety, compliance, people and culture, member services, and facilities functions at LPEA. She joined the LPEA leadership team in 2022 after a 30-year career in ski area operations, where she most recently served as the COO for Mountain Capital Partners, based in Durango, Colorado, which operates resorts in the western United States and internationally.
Elizabeth held similar positions at Vail Resort and Telluride Resort and brings extensive experience in purpose-driven leadership, organizational efficiency, project management, and customer service.
In her spare time, she is earning her MBA at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business and enjoying all of the outdoor activities living in southwest Colorado offers, including skiing, biking, and paddleboarding.
